Col. Bartholomew's speech brought back a lot of memories for me as a former Army Recruiter, the long hours, late nights on the phone, speaking to parents and all the "influencers" he mentioned. Man, that was a tough job but I loved it so much I wanted to do it once my time in the Army was over.

I would encourage all of you to visit a recruiting station in your area and incorporate them into your network. You won't find a more connected individual in your community than a military recruiter. They would also love to have your support as well. It always make a soldier feel good when they see that their counterparts in the civilian world respect them for the job they are doing while in uniform.
