Do Service Level Agreements with Hiring Managers have to be written up?

Hi - John here.  I’ll be presenting at ERE again this year, with a focus on practical techniques for effectively managing hiring manager relationships (Wednesday, 11am-Noon).
Do you use SLAs today?  If yes, are they written up?  Do you think SLAs have to be written up and signed to be effective?

Let me know your thoughts.

Looking forward to seeing you in sunny San Diego!

We do an “in take” process so our SLA is a verbal one.

However, due to my hiring managers not being as hiring- focused (for example hiring is not in their MBOs, etc.) and the fact that our contractors are charged back to each department/customer cost center, I’m seriously considering a single page doc/web page.

    I’d welcome templates/suggestions.
